ABS Newsletter: Week of April 22nd

Hello ABS Families,

Our Spring Concert is next Tuesday, April 30th. We will have a rehearsal at 1:00 PM for parents, family or community members who cannot come at 5:30 PM for our Concert. Just a reminder that we have an Early Release Day next Wednesday, May 1st. Students will be dismissed at 12:00 PM. The bus will run its regular route at that time.

Circus Smirkus is Coming to ABS!!

MakerSpace

Join us each Monday for open MakerSpace. Come to Amanda's room from 2:30-3:30 to create your own projects, or team up with friends to create whatever you can imagine.

Brownsville Base Camp

Brownsville Base Camp, a new nonprofit summer camp located in Brownsville is now open for registration. Give your child the gift of the great outdoors this summer with our play-based, educational summer camp. Camp will be run primarily out of ABS and will utilize the Ascutney Outdoors Center.

Camp registration is open for weeks July 8-August 2nd. Campers can register for 1, 2, 3, or all 4 weeks.

Finding our Stride

Attention Parents/Guardians of students 2nd through 6th. We are trying to see how many students plan on participating in "Finding Our Stride" here at ABS. If we have enough students who wish to participate we will start practices on the week of April 29th. Practice times would be 2:30-4:00pm and likely take place Monday and Thursday. You only need to fill out this form if your child is interested in this program for this Spring session or would be interested in participating in this program this coming fall school year. Windsor Community Dinners

Would you like to meet others in your community? We have the perfect opportunity for you.

The Windsor Community Dinner is held on the FIRST & THIRD Thursdays each month.

The May 2nd dinner will be hosted by the Rotary Club & May 16th will be hosted by St. Francis Church

at 44 Main St. Windsor. Serving 5:30 - 6:30 pm. This is a FREE IN-PERSON Event.

Enjoy a time of good food and conversation! Whatever your situation, everybody is WELCOME!
