Please Check for Ticks!
As soon as the snow melts students are drawn to rolling and playing on the hill. It's good practice to make sure your child is checking for ticks daily. We are outside every day so getting into a routine is helpful.
We are already seeing them!
Here is a link to VT Department of Health information about ticks.
Child Care Financial Assistance
The State of Vermont helps cover the cost of regulated child care, preschool, afterschool and summer programs. And beginning April 7, more Vermont families qualify for tuition assistance for these programs based on family size and income. For example, a family of four making $124,800 a year can now receive help paying for care.
Visit theCCFAP webpage to learn more and find out if your family is eligible.
Annual Spring Bean Supper
SCIP friends - we are need of parents to help plan and run the Spring Bean Supper which has been a long standing tradition in town and helpful fundraiser for SCIP. Please read below and reach out if you have capacity to help in any way.
Parent volunteers needed to help plan and run this important fundraising event!
When: Mothers Day weekend on Saturday, May 11th is the current planned date.
Next steps:
We need a commitment from several SCIP parents that can be a partner in putting on a bean supper and to schedule a planning meeting within the next two weeks.
The group involved with planning will then help to recruit more volunteers for the pre-event cooking tasks, along with the day-of volunteer tasks.
Please reach out by Friday, April 19th if you are willing to help put on this event in any capacity you are able to. Jess1783@gmail.com or Karen at: kkdvermont@gmail.com
Thank you!
